ABOUT THE UNFINISHED CHURCH PODCAST
God is not done with us.
Dismantling racism begins with listening. God calls us to hear the good news and speak the truth in love. Hosted by United Methodist Bishops LaTrelle Easterling, Michael McKee and Gregory Palmer, this podcast is a place for discussion, learning and transformation as we work together to build a better world.
Meet the Bishops
The Unfinished Church is a collaboration between three United Methodist bishops working to bring people together to end the sin of racism.
“…the passion shifts to the next news story while the real work requires sustained attention, the steady discipline of discipleship. Bishops LaTrelle Easterling, Michael McKee and Gregory Palmer, have put together a wonderful resource with an impressive lineup of diverse and provocative thought leaders to hold our attention and keep us moving toward the beloved community.”
President David McAllister-Wilson, Wesley Theological Seminary
“The Unfinished Church podcast is a valuable resource for all of us as we journey together in the pursuit of racial justice.”
Julie B. Noel, President, North Texas Conference United Women in Faith
“I am excited this diverse group of episcopal leaders are venturing into the deep with a relevant, honest, yet hope-filled podcast acknowledging the realities we are navigating as an ‘Unfinished Church.’”
Dr. Candace M. Lewis, President/Dean, Gammon Theological Seminary
“You are going to love The Unfinished Church podcast! Be prepared to take notes, because I predict there will be lots of ideas, quotes, and book titles you’re going to want to remember and follow up on. Bishops Easterling, Palmer and McKee and their amazing guests have gifted us both personally and communally with a resource to build a better world in which racial prejudice has no power.”
Cynthia Rives, National Vice President, United Women in Faith
“The Church is once again shifting as it has through the ages. This new podcast, The Unfinished Church, is both wise and hopeful as we face the challenges of these changing times.”
